A beautiful villa located in the sleepy fishing village of Sanur, Bali, Kolonial House accommodates yoga students for 3-4 week stays. The website doesn’t require much in the way of marketing since most of its guests come from Power of Now, but it must represent the property and exquisite facilities so user experience is very important. Visitors need to be able to find the information they need to book. The site was also heavily reliant on images because guests need to know where they will be staying.

Cabaretti’s objectives wear clear for this project – to build a site that would accurately reflect the accommodations and give users the information they needed to book a room here during their yoga teacher training course at Power of Now Oasis.

Cabaretti has worked with the client on several projects so we were familiar with the challenges faced by a client that is very particular about what they want. Trying to balance those expectations with what we know of good user experience is always a challenge, but in this case, the client was extremely helpful and understood the needs of the project.

The website continues to get a lot of bookings and users often comment on how well their accommodations were represented to them from the website. We used a lot of images to represent each of the rooms as well as all the common areas. We were a little concerned about the colors, a light brown and tan, but they proved to go well with the theme of the website.
